💡Yesterday the Battery Bunch and the Makepeace group ran a Bake, Make and Meme fundraiser for Mind to celebrate National battery day.
🎂We cleared out all the cakes, had a laugh together with the memes and marvelled at Emma's wonderful homemade glass bowl.
😊The event fundraised an amazing £457 for mind, which supports fighting for mental health, for support and for respect within our communities. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the event, without you all this would not have been possible.

Absolutely thrilled to see my very first @MBRAUNsolutions glovebox installed today. Feels like a big moment in my journey as a new PI.
Really excited for all the cool solid-state battery science we're going to be doing in here!
Finally, wrapping up what's been an amazing day - Prof. @Emjewls from @unibirmingham talks about her work in battery research, and working with SMEs and industry on technology development.
We are happy to share the good news that @EHDriscoll has been awarded the IOM3 2024 Robert Perrin award for Outstanding and Sustained commitment to Material Outreach. Congratulations 👏👏iom3.org/events-awards/award…
