When a school that you grew up down the road from tells you that they are teaching your poetry to kids who are growing up where and how you grew up… it’s hard to explain the feeling! ❤️🙌🏽
What a way to end the half term! Our last Key Note Speaker @MrCaseyBailey left a hall full of educators feeling inspired, honoured and in utter awe of his dedication to better the lives of young people! Team English are raring to teach Casey’s poetry to Y7s next term! 📝

A big shout-out to our amazing teaching team. Seeing so many pupils and parents who took the time to thank our teachers for all their support was lovely. The happiest teacher award has to go to Ms Mulhearn, who was beyond pleased with the GCSE English results #Proud #Success

Some brilliant and enthusiastic WHOOSH! lessons today! Y7 were enthralled by the inner dealings of The Merchant of Venice whilst Y9 took a closer look at tracking the evolution Macbeth and Lady Macbeth with a special appearance… HoY Mr Black playing King Duncan! 👑🗡️🎭
