Congratulations to our S1 Let's Read Competition winners and all participants. Certificates and prizes were issued today. We managed to issue some extra books as prizes thanks to the very generous donations from the @scottishbktrust @theparkmains @ParkMainsHSLib

"Classrooms to Care Homes": Our local residents received calendars created in ICT, art work, and letters pupils wrote during English lessons. Residents were also treated to a performance from our choir. @MissSloan4, Mr Cumine and Mrs Paton had a wonderful time. @theparkmains

Well done to all pupils involved in creating and delivering our "Classroom to Care Homes" Christmas packages this year. The residents from our local care homes received their gifts today. Our pupils and the residents had a great time! @theparkmains

In English, pupils celebrated Human Rights Day by learning about the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. They used excellent persuasive language skills to write letters for Amnesty Internationalโs โWrite for Rightsโ Campaign. @theparkmains
