I had a great weekend at the California Democratic Party Convention! I attended the Close the Gap California Party for Parity, got re-elected to my Northern Vice Chair Seat for the AAPI Caucus, and saw my friend, Deepa get elected to be the Vice Chair of the Party!

💦 It was a long time coming, but we finally had our grand opening of our new aquatics center! The planned summer 2024 opening of the Aquatics Center was delayed to March 2025 due to construction challenges.

This involved mechanical commissioning and implementation of an all-electric hot water systems. The facility is the first electrified municipal aquatics center in CA to include more than 10,000 sq. ft. of pool area.
