Today, I launched the maiden edition of the Imole SSCE Scholarship Award to celebrate academic excellence and reward brilliance among our students in Osun State.
I commend our hardworking students, dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and the Ministry of Education for the remarkable progress that has now positioned Osun as the 7th best performing state in Nigeria in NECO examinations. This achievement reflects our unwavering commitment to rebuilding the education sector and investing in the future of our children.
As we continue to move Osun forward, I urge our people to reject proceeds of crime, shun political corruption, and defend democracy ahead of the August 15 election. Those who diverted over N300 billion meant for local governments and undermined constitutional order must not be rewarded.
Osun must remain a beacon of good governance, rule of law, and democratic values. Together, let us sustain continuity and continue delivering the dividends of democracy to every corner of our dear state.

We just passed through Akoda, along Redeemer’s University, down into the inner parts of Ede, through Ofatedo and honestly, that project is massive and impressive to see. This is the kind of development the people can relate to directly.

In furtherance to our commitment to revitalize the Cooperative system and support the SMEs in the state, we have launched the 3.4 Billion Naira Revolving Cooperative Loan scheme.
This loan scheme tagged “State Special Ward Level Cooperative Loan Programme” will benefit 46 SMEs in each of the 332 political wards across the nine federal constituencies in three phases making a total of 45,816 beneficiaries.
The disbursement is expected to take off with the first phase with 15,272 beneficiaries receiving a total sum of N 1.145 Billion.
Interested SMEs must belong to a trade association with a letter of character attestation to be provided from their trade association before disbursement.
