I created this illustration on the shared pathology between uterine fibroids, keloids, and Central Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia (CCCA). These conditions are often studied in silos, yet emerging evidence points to them sharing fibrotic and inflammatory pathways.

Sweet syndrome is a rare skin condition caused by a build up of white blood cells under the skin that cause inflammation. It’s vital that dermatological skin conditions like this are shown on dark skin to help accurately diagnose and treat them. #representationmatters
