A few thoughts too many but if you're curious as to why I do things the way that I do and flip flop between styles.
Thanks for the compliment I guess! I do understand and respect your opinion even though I disagree. Simply put, I wanna do both and more, even if I am aware it's not gonna appeal to the same audience. If I were smart I'd have another artist profile to focus on a single style perhaps, but I really cannot be bothered, at least not right now. It's a nice change of pace for me and it tends to get boring to do just one thing eventually, IMO the real waste would be getting bored enough to not wanna do it at all.
Besides the main reason for me to be an artist are the grievances I have with the field, excessive proportions, characters behaving differently than they would. Yeah yeah maybe silly me for wanting the things that I want but it does compel me to make it myself, not claiming that I nail anything but I do aim for accurate proportions and character behavior plus a certain level of quality. There are many great artists out there but I was never quite satisfied, could never quite find the style that I wanted to see, so fine, I'll do it myself, and then it just lends itself naturally to the things I like, be it Overwatch, Genshin, plus others I'm yet to do.
