A woman was awakened at 2:30 in the morning by masked savages breaking into her home.
Three lives shattered in a matter of seconds. This is THE question nobody wants to ask is this:
What was a 15-year-old doing wearing a ski mask and allegedly breaking into an occupied apartment in the middle of the night? Who taught him to do that?
Where were the adults?
Where were the loving fathers?
Where were the people who were supposed to teach him that kicking in someone’s door at 2:30 a.m. is a shortcut to disaster?
A woman has the right to defend herself when she believes her life is in danger in her own home.
The real tragedy started long before that apartment door was breached.
It started when a child somehow ended up on a path that led him to a masked home invasion instead of a classroom, a job, a football field, a church, or a family dinner table.
Every community should be asking how we got here.
Because this story didn’t begin at 2:30 a.m.
That’s just where it ended.

This guy went to the gym to play some basketball.
He left the gym for a little bit and when he came back he noticed that his basketball that was by his bag next to the wall was gone.
He asks around and no one seems to know.
But, there was a camera on there so he asks the guy if he could play the camera back to see who took the ball.
And lo and behold they find the guy on the camera. 😳
The guy walks over by his bag, stands there for a bit and then quickly picks the ball up and walks away towards his bag. He acts casual like he’s watching, waiting to see if anyone will say anything. Then he starts to walk to the exit door still seeing if anyone is watching him. And then he exits.
A basketball. He stole another man’s basketball. 🤯
