I've not been doing well. I'll admit it, and scream it to the sky if I have to (and I kinda have already). But despite that, I'm filled with determination. Cringey Undertale reference aside, I'm healing, slowly but surely. Bet on it.
Hey here's a fun idea: if you're in a car riding behind somebody on an e-bike at ass-o'-clock in the morning you don't ride their ass to the point they take a risky turn tryna get you off their taillights and crash. Maybe let's not do that. Ever.
Life update for those who know me inside and outside of streaming; at the moment, I am functionally homeless. I have a great group of friends in my city that have been helping me out with couches to crash on and setting up hotel rooms.
It will take me about a month and some change to get back on my feet, but after that I should finally be in a position to resume streaming and content creation from a home of my own.
I love all of you. Be kind to those around you.
Okay so I'm watching Dexter: Original Sin and whoever did the casting for this show deserves ALL THE AWARDS
I'm freaking out at how similar the cast looks to their future selves.
As challenging as I'm sure 2025 will be, I can't help but have a good feeling about the year to come. Watch this space; this coming year I intend to get my own place and start up some content creation in earnest again. Looking forward to it.
In just over a week, the e-bike has saved me over 40 miles of walking I would've normally done (I've been without a car for about three years now)
So yeah my legs hurt a fuck-ton less nowadays.
I now own an e-bike.
After two and a half years getting around solely on foot (ha) I FINALLY HAVE A MOTORIZED SET OF WHEELS AGAIN.
Words can't describe how much this improves my quality of life.
Me at work making a random label with the days date: “Oh cool, it’s Friday the 13th!”
Me 2 seconds later realizing I work in a restaurant: “OH FUCK, IT’S FRIDAY THE 13TH”
Fellow roguelike gamers of the world, do NOT sleep on Windblown. My highest compliments to @motiontwin, I won't be able to put this one down for awhile!
Life before death.
Strength before weakness.
Journey before destination.
To all of my friends who are shocked, heartbroken, and fearful of the next four years, I'm with you. And I'm LIVID.
We WILL see our way out of this.
