ALT Whilst it saddens us, this is a note to say we are closing Ergi Press. We are so proud of what we created in Ergi - not only wonderful collections of creative work, but a little community of compassion and pride. Ergi began from desire to get our teeth stuck into publishing, as well as a genuine need to carve some queer space for ourselves in York. Micro and indie presses are struggling at the moment - balancing rising costs of everything with creating special pieces is no mean feat. Please support your local creatives however you can, to keep more of us going. Finally, thank you so much to everyone who submitted work, attended our events or liked our posts - it's meant the world to us. Best, Kate, Imogen, Alex and Rachael.
