Yesterday was a dream come true. I’m honored and humbled to be able to represent @WeAreHSHS and @HenricoSchools. There are way too many people to thank for but just know I truly appreciate everything you have done to help me become the best possible teacher I can be.

HCPS students are working on solutions to tough challenges! The student-led HEART Sustainability Summit explored how Henrico and HCPS can be environmental leaders. Their ideas will be presented to county and HCPS leaders. The summit also featured a talk by WWBT's Andrew Freiden.

Chief of Staff Cari Tretina announced that Henrico’s environmental committee – HEART – has expanded w/ 9 students serving on its Youth Council. Through this partnership with @HenricoSchools, students are able to earn credit while making a difference for Henrico’s future.

HCPS celebrated its new Center for Environmental Studies and Sustainability at Varina H.S. at a grand opening event in partnership with Meta and the Henrico Education Foundation! The new specialty center will get students into the field for hands-on environmental learning.
