Question of the Day: If demographics really is destiny, what destiny are we locking in for the Canada our kids and grandkids will inherit?

Math is math, and those numbers are hard to ignore. Canada was built by immigrants who bought into the project, individual liberty, rule of law, self-reliance, and the chance to build something better. That model worked. What we're doing now is different: record immigration while young Canadians get priced out of homes and families. The playground in the post is a snapshot of the future. The question is whether the kids in it inherit the same Canada in spirit, or a transformed one where the founding principles that made this place worth coming to get diluted by sheer volume and weak assimilation.

Funny you asked.... Its not looking good. Before I say this immigration is large part of the foundation of Canada, and neccessary. Just not unsustainable immigration... In 2024 42% of all babies born in Canada were to a foreign born mother. Estimates are by 2050 it may be 66% or 2/3's. Meaning in the future Canadians of all creeds & colors will eventually be the minority in their own country. Canadians can't afford children now. And the folks coming here just have more babies. Math is math. And without real freedom or protected human rights, in conjunction with eventually the majority ruling... Its not looking so good.

Brothers and sisters, with all the chaos unfolding in Canada and across the world right now…the division, the corruption, the endless noise and uncertainty, it’s okay to feel overwhelmed. Please take the time you need to rest and heal. Your mind, your heart, and your spirit matter. Step back from the chaos if you have to. Breathe. Go for a walk. Sit with people who lift you up. You can’t fight effectively when you’re running on empty. Recharge. Take care of yourself. We need you strong for the road ahead. 🫡👊❤️

Going up north today for a cousin's wedding. We can't bring Luna up with us. We've left her with one her favorite people in the world today to doggy sit This will be the first time I've been away from Luna since she was a puppy. She begun shaking when we dropped her off. 😢

Did you know that the act of discrimination is a basic survival instinct? Despite what modern Liberals will tell you, discrimination is needed in healthy and prosperous society. No one is free from discriminating, we all do it everyday. Gotta figure out what to eat for lunch? If you were unable to discriminate you might as well be eating feces with a side of cyanide. Mate selection? Absolutely we discriminate on a biological level. What and whom we find attractive is an instinctual biological process to make sure we find someone who we can make strong and healthy children with. With migrants coming here? Now this is the juncture where we get called names likes racist, intolerant and bigoted. The truth of the matter? Modern Liberals have been telling us for decades not to discriminate. The results? In the West writ large we have let in a multitude of folks who can't and won't integrate. They're destroying our culture, our values and our men and women on the streets. Our government simply stopped discriminating because they didn't want to be "mean." We've let in millions of criminals who are direct threat to our very way of life because discrimination is seen a bad. We've literally been told to turn off our basic survival instinct to feel virtuous. How long until folks realize that discrimination is actually going to save us?

Everything sucks now. My family came from a communist country. My grandma collected hundreds of Hungarian films from before communist occupation I used to think was a little excessive but now I know why. She was preserving the time before everything was lost to communist propaganda and turned to crap. I’ve found myself data hoarding older things now too so I also have safe content for my kids. I have probably decades of entertainment now if I’m ever exiled from the internet. Though I’m not happy hard drives are pushing $1K now thanks to AI I’m starting to have to lower resolutions and delete games for space 😒😒

The only thing I miss about the 90s is my youth. I sure as shit don't miss Bryan Adams and Celine Dion being Top 40 behemoths.

There are days I wish I had a time machine to go back to the 90s when Canada was still primarily Canadian. The comedy was funny, the music was better and the culture wasn't suicidal. Heck even the CBC used to put out good stuff like Kids In The Hall! The real ones know. 🇨🇦

The regime's unity will be the downfall of Canadians writ large. Everything Carney's government has done has divided Canadians further and fanned the flames of our active collapse. He is doing a great job as Canada's Economic Hitman.
I spoke with the Premiers today about U.S. trade negotiations, our energy security, and Canadian priorities for the upcoming G7. As Canada faces an increasingly uncertain world, our unity is our greatest strength.

A reminder that there is no month officially designated as “Canadian Heritage Month” in Canada. But yes, let’s overlap “Canada Day” with “Somalian Heritage Month”. Our government is completely ass backwards with their priorities.
