I was in the hospital cafétéria yesterday with my daughter while she was waiting for a room to become available. During that whole time a lady was sitting behind us working on a computer. It made me think of J. K. Rolling writting her books in coffee shops.

Over the last 10 years or so there were more than 24 different nationalities working in our bank (in Luxembourg), not only European but from around the world. They took the jobs from the locals you may say. What happens when AI takes everyone's jobs?

I always hand wash my car myself. Do people still wash their own cars or is this also a thing of the past?

My eldest daughter gave me a baby book to complete. It's to tell my story. I found a lot of the questions a bit daunting but managed to finish it. I realised I was writing family history and history in general. I added photos, copies of family documents and news clippings.

The advantages of being retired is that the boss is great, excellent working hours, you can't get fired and you have plenty of holidays.
