Signs you are trading emotionally (and may not realize it):
• You enter a trade, but immediately feel unsure about your decision.
• You move your stop loss because you don’t want to accept the loss.
• You close a trade early out of fear, then watch price reach your original target.
• You take a trade mainly because you want to recover from a previous loss.
• You increase your risk because you feel overly confident after a win.
• You trade while tired, stressed, distracted, or not mentally prepared.
Emotions are part of being human, but in trading, unmanaged emotions can destroy a good strategy.
A disciplined trader follows the plan, not the feeling.
