Buffalo, New York Mayor Sean Ryan (D) calls out the failures of the cityβs 100% Democrat-led leadership
βWhy do we need to raise taxes? Because our city is broke and it's literally falling apartβ
- They need about 40 garbage trucks to do all their routes, but on a given day, about half of their garbage trucks don't work
- You're supposed to replace your heavy equipment every 5 years. Half their fleet is older than 10 years
- They donβt snow plow their roads regularly because half their snow plows donβt work
- Potholed streets are everywhere
- Community centers are all falling apart

Spent the evening in Buffalo with the @ErieCountyGOP and loved every minute of it.
Buffalo is a special place full of tough, proud, hardworking people who helped build New York. You can feel the grit, history, and heart of this city everywhere you go.
But Buffalonians are tired of being forgotten by Albany politicians and decades of one-party rule. Families are being crushed by high taxes, rising costs, and policies that make life less affordable while opportunity keeps leaving Western New York.
Buffalo deserves investment, accountability, good-paying jobs, and leaders who actually respect taxpayers again.
Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome and great conversations tonight.

The State of the County was underwhelming.
βAffordabilityβ apparently means more govβt spending with the tax dollars residents were overcharged last year β lightbulb programs and subsidies.
