Final adjustments, to the mm, before the CHP lands in its spot for the next 15yrs, all it took was a lorry, a crane, a forklift, loads of guys in high vis and about 2.5yrs of meetings, papers and plans. Well done team. #SustainableRDE @RDEhospitals

Testing the power draw of the new LED fittings that are being installed around @RDEhospitals against the removed old compact fluorescents to check that the new LEDs are actually more energy efficient than the old ones (they are!). #sustainableRDE

Concrete being poured for the new 1.5MWe CHP. Annually, this will generate enough low co2 electricity to run 2,660 homes, or meet just 75% of the RDE Wonfords requirements! Help reduce our power draw by switching off lights etc when you finish work! #sustainableRDE @RDEhospitals
