October 2016 marked the beginning of the #AnglophoneCrisis People went out for a peaceful protest but were sprayed with bullets. Mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers and children were killed. People are still dying everyday π
There couldnβt have been a more better timing for this yearβs #WorldEnvironmentDay.
Right now, Iβm in Ghana with the Climate Beyond Borders Caravan team, planting mangroves, visiting conservation sites, government officials, and speaking with primary school children and traditional leaders about climate action from the ground up.
From the coastlines of Benin to the communities across West Africa, weβre proving that real climate solutions start with people, especially women and youth taking bold, collective steps.
What are you doing today to protect our planet? Drop it in the comments and letβs grow this movement together! ππ±

Lagos alone generates approximately 13,000 tons of waste daily with nearly 20% in plastic from bags and packaging. And period products add thousands of tons of non-biodegradable plastic every year.
Today, Nigerians will be joining in as we break down the problem, the real impacts on our lives, and practical solutions. This is the beginning of our virtual series #ZeroBorders ππ

π¨π¨π² Many Cameroonian youths complain there are no opportunities, but when opportunities come, some donβt even know how to send a proper email (some even have 500 unread emails), write a simple CV, introduce themselves professionally, or speak confidently in an interview.
This was quite interesting and interactive, thank you @Estizzy4 for creating such space to learn and relearn from lived experiences of other #Cameroonianyouths. And to everyone who joined us and shared with us their #knowledge, I say "thank you "
Thank you @Estizzy4 for hosting this amazing space, it was very Educative, thank you to the Co-host and all the amazing speakers and Listeners π¨π²β€οΈ

In this X Space we will:
β Expose the difference between tokenism and REAL participation
β Share lived experiences
β Co-create practical solutions to influence council budgets, projects & policies
β Leave with personal action pledges
