Bonjour à tous, C’est avec beaucoup de regret que nous prenons aujourd’hui la parole concernant The Lion’s Call. Certains d’entre vous l’avaient peut-être pressenti au regard du peu de communication autour de l’événement ces derniers mois. Après de nombreuses réflexions et analyses, nous avons pris la décision difficile d’annuler la convention The Lion’s Call. Dans un souci de transparence, nous tenons à vous expliquer les raisons de cette décision. À ce jour, l’événement ne compte qu’une cinquantaine de pass vendus en moyenne. Dans ces conditions, les engagements financiers nécessaires à la venue des invités que nous souhaitions vous proposer représentaient un risque trop important pour garantir une convention à la hauteur de nos exigences et de vos attentes. Plutôt que de maintenir l’événement en laissant subsister des espoirs que nous ne serions probablement pas en mesure de concrétiser, nous avons choisi d’agir avec honnêteté et responsabilité. Cette décision est difficile à prendre, mais elle nous paraît être la plus respectueuse envers chacun d’entre vous. L’ensemble des billets sera bien entendu remboursé dans les meilleurs délais. Les demandes ont déjà été lancées auprès de Billetweb.1 Nous tenons à remercier les équipes de William Moseley et Anna Popplewell pour leur compréhension, leur bienveillance et leur coopération tout au long de nos échanges. Nous avions été honorés de les accueillir lors de la ATOF et gardons un excellent souvenir de cette expérience. Some of you may have suspected this given our lack of communication regarding the event in recent months. After much consideration and analysis, we have made the difficult decision to cancel The Lion’s Call convention. In the interest of transparency, we would like to explain the reasons behind this decision. To date, the event has sold an average of only about fifty admission tickets. Under these circumstances, the financial commitments required to bring the guests we wanted to invite represented too great a risk to guarantee a convention that would meet our standards and your expectations. Rather than proceeding with the event and raising hopes that we would likely be unable to fulfill, we have chosen to act with honesty and responsibility. This is a difficult decision to make, but we believe it is the most respectful course of action toward each and every one of you. Of course, all tickets be refunded as soon as possible. We would like to thank William Moseley’s and Anna Popplewell’s teams for their understanding, kindness, and cooperation throughout our collaboration. We were honored to welcome them to our A Touch Of Fantasy event and we keep very fond memories of that experience. Finally, we would like to thank everyone who placed their trust in us by reserving a spot for this adventure from the bottom of our hearts.
