Our dear Margot is leaving us for a research stay in the UK through the @OeAD_worldwide Marietta Blau scholarship. Yesterday we said goodbye with lots of laughter (although we are sad to see her go) and one of Margot's favourite things in Austria (Laugenecke from Billa)

Last week we went on a little lab retreat. We stayed at the beautiful Reichenau an der Rax. We had food prepared by our amazing chefs Helmut, Jan, and Kirren. We discussed future career plans of our PhD students in the garden and around the fire. We all had a beautiful time ❤

Last week we felt a bit down, so we went to the @AlbertinaMuseum to see the exhibition 'Matthew Wong -- Vincent van Gogh: Painting as a last resort'. While the lives if both artists may not have been the happiest, we for sure felt better after seeing their art.

The Evalab is losing its Eva. While we are sad to see her go and leave Vienna for Tübingen, we celebrated Eva's new professor position Austrian style (huge portion of Salzburger Nockerl). We wish her all the best for the future!

Ultrasound neurostimulation allows for the precise stimulation of brain areas. However, the effect of gravity on the brain might lead to a yet unknown factor of uncertainty. We address this in our recent letter to Brain Stimulation: 10.1016/j.brs.2025.02.013
