“This delivery will help save lives, but it does not begin to meet the level of need. Without sustained and reliable access, too many children will continue to be cut off from the basic services they need to survive," said Sheldon Yett, our Representative unicef.link/43xaHQT

In a race against time to contain #Ebola in north-eastern DR Congo, more than 100 metric tonnes of emergency supplies mobilized through @UNICEFSupply began arriving this morning in Ituri, with the support of @EU_Commission and @eu_echo. This critical assistance will help protect frontline workers and nearly 100,000 people — including children and families already living in an extremely fragile humanitarian context. Rapid action and sustained solidarity remain essential to stop transmission and save lives. @UNICEF @UNICEFAfrica @UNICEFDRC

Menstrual health must never be treated as a “girls’ issue” alone. It concerns all of us. Boys, men, teachers, communities, leaders, and families. Today, let's mark Menstrual Hygiene Day. But tomorrow, and every day after, let's continue doing the work 👇 bit.ly/4nWbvIo

In a world of plenty no child should die from malnutrition. Unicef is responding. But more global action is needed to save and improve the lives of children.👇
Children in #Somalia cannot wait. A deepening emergency is pushing nearly 500,000 into severe acute malnutrition, putting lives at risk. Urgent action is needed now. @UNICEFAfrica

Children’s safety and access to learning must remain protected in every circumstance. We stand firmly with all efforts toward a peaceful resolution, because every child deserves to learn and thrive without disruption.
We welcome the suspension of the transport strike and call on all parties to prioritize a peaceful resolution. The safety and well-being of our children must always come first. Disruptions to school access & learning threaten their well-being and future. Every child deserves to learn and grow in a safe environment, free from fear. #ChildrenFirst #SafeSchools #PeacefulDialogue #UNICEF
