I reject the appropriation of the 9-9-9 challenge. This is roughly 4 hotdogs and 4 beers. We cannot disrespect such a sacred tradition by watering it down.

just voted because my mom guilt tripped me into doing it and when i went up to sign in i made a joke about riding with biden and the female poll worker laughed and then when she turned the ipad around i made another joke “how much do i tip you” and she laughed again and then the female poll workers friend walked up and audibly whispered into the poll workers ear “ask for her number ask for her number” and the pollworkers friend shoved a small slip of paper and a ballpoint pen right in front of me so i wrote my real name and phone number because in sudden frightening situations my immediate instinct is to wholeheartedly comply and then the female poll worker walked me to my booth and made small talk with me (she was 20 and her brother had autism) and as she closed the curtain on me she whispered “i get off at 8 by the way” and then with my heart pounding in my ears i began mashing at the ballot machine screen at random until i selected a sufficient amount of buttons for the machine to allow me to print my ballot and end the horrible torture my mother devised for me and then i left the horrible booth with my freshly printed ballot and fed it to the scanning machine and watched with mild surprise as the previously inscrutable names and ideas i mashed on made themselves known to me for a split second before disappearing down the mechanical maw of the ballot box but before i could risk any more self reflection i remembered the imminent threat of arranged lesbian marriage with the poll worker and fled the community center as quickly as possible

I actually praised this earlier, but I just learned something that makes it clear how calculated this politician is. Effective pandering, honestly, because it even got to me. Meanwhile he’s making it clear he won’t defend the community that gave him his rise, let alone deliver on his own words about arresting Netanyahu. Anyone who still believes he will is either naïve or comfortable with being lied to. This is what happens when politicians charm people into forgetting their promises and excuse their capitulation. It’s disgusting, especially when over 100 Palestinians were killed this week and he’s out here dancing and handing out candy like nothing’s happening.
