When someone you love is struggling with marijuana addiction, psychosis, cannabis hyperemesis syndrome (CHS), families often feel overwhelmed, isolated, and unsure where to turn. You don't have to navigate it alone. Join the Every Brain Matters Climbers Meeting, a weekly online support group led by a Licensed Professional Counselor for families impacted by a loved one's cannabis use. This compassionate and confidential space offers practical recovery tools, education, and connection with others who understand the challenges you're facing. Families learn that recovery isn't about fixing someone elseโ€”it's about finding healthier ways to respond, setting boundaries, rebuilding relationships, and caring for their own well-being. We often hear the 3 C's of addiction: โ€ข We didn't cause it. โ€ข We can't control it. โ€ข We can't cure it. Together, we also explore a hopeful 4th C: How can we contribute to healing rather than harm? Whether your family is taking its first step or climbing a steep mountain, every step matters. Through shared experiences, guided discussion, and mutual support, families gain strength, clarity, confidence, and hope. ๐Ÿ’™ You are not alone. Healing is possibleโ€”for individuals and for families. ๐Ÿ“… Wednesday Meetings (6:00 PM MST) Register: us02web.zoom.us/meeting/regiโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ“… Saturday Meetings (9:30 AM MST) Register: us02web.zoom.us/meeting/regiโ€ฆ #everybrainmatters #familyrecovery #cannabisawareness #addiction #psychosis #chs #mentalhealthsupport #familysupportingfamily #RecoveryJourney

If your family has experienced physical, emotional, or behavioral harm after cannabis use, you know the impact is real. These outcomes didn't happen by accident. When companies prioritize profits over safety, families are often left to bear the consequences. You are not alone. And you may have legal options. Every Brain Matters has created a clear, step-by-step guide that explains how families and attorneys evaluate potential cannabis-related legal claims, including the evidence used to establish liability and demonstrate preventable harm. The cannabis industry should answer for the consequences of its products, marketing practices, and failures to warn consumers about known risks. ๐Ÿšจ A Texas 4-year-old got a THC lollipop at school. This is exactly what SB 3 was designed to prevent. The Texas Legislature passed a bill to ban intoxicating THC products like gummies, candies, and drinks that can appeal to children. Governor @GregAbbott_TX vetoed it. Since hemp-derived THC became legal, Texas poison-control calls involving THC have nearly tripledโ€”from 923 in 2019 to 2,592 in 2024. Calls involving children age 5 and under increased 495%! Texas shouldn't be following California's path of normalizing high-potency THC products. We should be protecting kids. How many more children have to be exposed before action is taken? Watch. Share. Cannabis exposure is an increasingly overlooked danger for pets as marijuana products become more accessible, commercially available, and highly potent. According to the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center, more than 6,200 marijuana toxicity cases involving pets were reported in 2021, increasing to over 6,300 cases by 2024. While most exposures are not fatal, one study documented 16 cannabis-related pet deaths, many involving marijuana edibles. ๐Ÿพ Dogs are especially vulnerable, often ingesting edibles or cannabis products left within reach. Because pets are far more sensitive to THC than humans, even small amounts can lead to serious symptoms, including disorientation, vomiting, loss of coordination, tremors, seizures, and, in severe cases, coma. Although many animals recover with prompt veterinary care, the continued rise in marijuana-related poisonings highlights the urgent need for greater public awareness and prevention to help avoid these entirely preventable exposures. ๐Ÿพ Read Dixieโ€™s story below and share it with your community to help protect pets and raise awareness about the dangers of cannabis exposure. everybrainmatters.org/2026/0โ€ฆ #PetSafety #PetPoisonAwareness #CannabisAwareness #DogSafety #PetHealth #THCToxicity #ProtectPets #VeterinaryCare #PoisonPrevention #EveryBrainMatters #CannabisEducation #KeepPetsSafe
