Este acuerdo da inicio a un esfuerzo más amplio para fortalecer el sistema eléctrico venezolano mediante un plan integral que podría aportar hasta 2.640 MW de capacidad hidroeléctrica, 2.160 MW en Tocoma y 480 MW en Macagua, en los próximos cinco años. @impsaok signed an agreement with Venezuela's Ministry of Electric Energy and CORPOELEC, marking the start of a new phase in the restoration of the country's strategic hydroelectric infrastructure. IMPSA will bring its experience, engineering expertise, and technology to revitalize the Macagua and Tocoma hydroelectric facilities, with an initial target of restoring 672 MW of generation capacity within 19 months. This agreement launches a broader effort to strengthen Venezuela's power system through a comprehensive plan that could deliver up to 2,640 MW of hydroelectric capacity 2,160 MW at Tocoma and 480 MW at Macagua over the next five years.
