๐ข 2026.05.19 EWHA-CHAIN 17th Regular SessionโจRecap | Blockchain PR & Coin Trading
In this EWHA-CHAIN regular session, we invited Blockchain PR freelance journalist Jihyun Ham and Coteacher co-founder Jaejun Lee to discuss the realities of Web3 PR, DAO governance, and the journey of building an investment education platform.
๐ช Part 1 | Blockchain PR
In the first session, Jihyun Ham shared insights on Web3 PR and DAO governance, focusing on the role of PR in the blockchain industry.
She emphasized that Web3 has a high barrier to entry for both journalists and the general public due to its complex terminology and structure. For this reason, accurate communication and trust-building are especially important in the industry.
One key takeaway was that planning materials with industry context and insight can be a more effective communication tool than simple press releases.
She also discussed the legal and operational risks of decentralized organizations through cases such as Compound Labs and the Ooki DAO ruling. A key message was that DAO is not an end in itself, but a tool for realizing a projectโs direction and structure.
๐ช Part 2 | Coin Trading & Coteacher
In the second session, Coteacher co-founder Jaejun Lee discussed the growing importance of information credibilityin the investment market, drawing on his experience in investment banking and asset management.
As investment content continues to increase, it has become even harder to decide which information to trust and how to make sound judgments. In this context, Coteacher aims to help users study independently and develop their own decision-making abilities.
By connecting lectures, finance-focused videos, and community features, Coteacher provides different experiences based on the needs of mentors and mentees. Its vision of reducing the investment knowledge gap and building a trust-based learning environment was especially impressive.
This session was a meaningful opportunity to hear both insights on Web3 PR and the perspective of a founder building an investment education service.
Thank you to Jeehyun Ham and Jaejun Lee for sharing your valuable insights โจโจAnd thank you to everyone who joined us.
