During our STEAM Day (Pi Day) event, students rotated to science lesson and investigated the chemical properties associated with whack-a-balloons and hand warmers. Students used transparent balloons to see the internal effects of the endothermic reactions. @CherokeeSchools

Hot Coco Bar for Ts and Science Lab Day! “Honey I Shrunk the Cell” and “Dancing Popcorn” gave Ss practice identifying different organelles and functions of cells along with double replacement and endothermic chemical reactions.

Ss exhibited Bernoulli's Principle (lift principle of flight) through frisbee flight. Ss also observed UV wavelength behavior using beads, constructed into bracelets, that indicate UV wavelengths when changing colors after exposure. @CherokeeSchools @ACTIVE_Campus
