This is the view of everyone who has been building one the XRPL for longer than a year sadly. I've sat in so many meetings with people from Ripple and tried to tell them that sh*t has to change and I can't say how often feedback like that is being met with pure apathy or denialism. There's no drive to innovate or improve. As long as gullible people keep buying xrp bc of outdated narratives they'll be more than happy doing fk all and bullying critical projects out of existence.

Be careful @JoelKatz ... @Vet_X0 might get offended and @msvadari might classify you as a misogynist 😵‍💫
This is really weird. I asked SDXL with no unusual settings for a woman in a red tank top and high heels. I got these:

Our move to @solana explained & a recap of all alpha. I want to start by saying that I am extremely grateful for every single one of you. The number of holders that have been quietly watching and supporting us in yesterday's space, in the comment section, and on Discord is overwhelming. It really made me realize how thankful I am for what we have built together. How happy I am that many of you have been with us for 2.5 years. How many of you have an emotional connection to XPUNKS. I am overwhelmed by the numbers and all the love. Thank you. The reason we are moving to Solana is for you. To ensure we can do the same thing, but better, for many more years. Why? XPUNKS has stagnated for a year while we kept building and pushing out innovative stuff. However, none of the things we did had any effect. It showed that we have already reached anyone interested in NFTs on the XRPL. It showed that we had no growth potential anymore on that chain, which is extremely unfair to our holders. Our job is to mitigate risks and create opportunities for future growth. In addition to that, I have been actively participating in the SOL NFT space for months. One thing is sure: SOL NFT culture fits our brand and community much better than the XRPL. The number of people who were excited about us coming over was incredible. The joy, the vibes, and the love. That is what we need as a community to grow. An ecosystem full of support, great infra, programmability, and many opportunities. Within the first 30 minutes of the announcement, most of the big players on SOL reached out. That is incredible. I feel overwhelmed in the best possible way. How are we bridging, and how will we make it a success? The bridge will be a one-way bridge. Build it so you can seamlessly pay the fees for minting the NFTs on SOL by paying with XRP on the XRPL before initiating the bridging transactions. We will use Xaman for the XRPL and Phantom for Solana. We recommend doing this on a desktop PC for the best experience. The fee per NFT will be between 10 and 15 XRP per XPUNK. However, as we understand you would rather not spend your XRP, we also have some extras for you on the other side. You will get a free art extension within the same NFT. This is a 3D interpretation of your OG XPUNK artwork as a pfp, and also an entire game-ready asset to be used in games and metaverses, including, of course, @edendotgame. In addition to that, royalties will be 5% instead of 7% on the XRP Ledger. We aim to have our new website bridge live on the 6th of April and will stay open indefinitely for now. We are not dropping a new collection on SOL because we don’t want to extract liquidity from our holders and dilute the collection. We also want to bring value to SOL and not take it away. This move shows that we are serious about our move and stand behind it 100%. In addition, we have built a platform for our holders and ourselves to get insights into everyone from our community. There is a thing called a chunk-pass. You can connect your X account, Discord, Phantom, and Xaman. A leaderboard will show all your metrics regarding engagement with XPUNKS, the community, trading, and bridging. Valuable data for us and everyone involved to see who our most active and engaging community members are. What KOLs love, what we do, etc. In addition, we will give 3 XPUNKS away daily for at least the first month. One person receives one XPUNK based on social points. Retweets, likes, comments, etc., are scored per post. The person per day with the best score will win an XPUNK. Secondly, the person with the most trading volume on Solana will get one. Thirdly, one lucky person who either posted or traded will receive one. All are to be claimed automatically within the platform. Some questions that were asked: Will XPUNKs still have a copy on the Moon after being bridged? Yes, we have always had a cross-chain vision, so we ensured this is rock solid. All metadata, images, logos, code to generate, etc., are on the IM-15 lander that landed on the Moon on February 22nd. Nothing will be affected; those will be the first SOL NFTs to have a presence on the Moon. Are we forced to bridge? No, XPUNK will likely keep provenance value on the XRPL due to being the first collection to launch. You can decide for yourself. Eden will also support the XRPL so the utility of XPUNKS remains unaffected in that sense. However, our future efforts after bridging will focus on SOL. So, you will soon be able to get the first collection to launch on XRP and SOL. What happens with onXRP/Bidds and OXP? It’s a different company with a different entity, a different team, and a different vision. However, this vision and strategy remain the same and will not be affected by this move. For more information about its strategy and the future of OXP, I highly recommend reading our Gitbook on the Bidds website. Unixpunks will also stay on the XRPL. That journey is still ongoing, and more will follow. Its strategy remains the same. So, you can still breed for at least the next two months. We will probably give some alpha about level 4 in April. If you have any other questions, we are here to answer them. I really encourage you to hop on our Discord in The Underground channel and chat with us. We freed up our calendar this week to address everyone, so don’t feel you are bothering us. Feel free to ask anything; just please keep it in good faith. Final words: I understand that this is a shock to some of you, so I encourage you to open the conversation with us. We had a 4.5-hour AMA until all questions were answered. Most questions were asked ten times, and we are more than happy to answer them ten times again. I really appreciate all the love we already got from the SOL community and the understanding of most of the XRPL. I am so excited to go into a new direction with you guys. XPUNKS is my life, and I will do anything in my power to make XPUNKS a huge success again. It was a necessary pivot. I can’t wait to be in the top 5 on SOL this year.

XPUNKS: reflections After two and a half years of working on XPUNKS with our amazing team I feel like this pivotal moment is a good moment to put to paper some of the many reflections I’ve had about XPUNKS during that time. I think what is cool about the XPUNK collection is that it truly reflects the different creative insights and preferences of the different team members. We have all contributed immensely to the creative direction of the set, and the same can be said about the project as a whole. You can spend a lifetime arguing about what art is, and the question as to whether NFTs do or do not fall under that umbrella is as good a topic as any to add to that conversation. Many collectors would say that the individual NFTs are the artworks, but I have come to believe that the individual NFTs are far from what is most creatively interesting about an NFT project. I think at the very least, you should consider a collection as a whole as the artwork, and in that sense, Koen, Louis, Kaj and myself made one artwork, collectively. To be honest, however, I think you can draw it even further and make a case that the project is the artwork, and the collection is merely a part of the entire experience you deliver to your community. From the moment a holder apes into your project, they are guaranteed an experience. An experience with highs, lows, euphoria and set-backs. Some NFT teams manage to deliver an awesomely positive and unifying experience, some deliver nothing but disappointment, most deliver a bit of both. But in the end, all of them deliver a very human experience. I think one of the points of art has always been to unify people in making them recognize the collectively shared experiences of humanity. Art has the ability to make you feel more at peace with yourself by showing you: it is OK that you are like this, look, other people have the same limitations, pretensions and flaws. Art unites people by echoing our shared human experiences, showing us that our quirks are universal. And I think following an NFT project does exactly this: it exposes you to a large set of very human experiences. Experiences of ambition, greed, humour, competitiveness, friendship, you can go on and on. The four of us have often discussed what kind of image and message we want to convey, but I think at the end of the day these conversations always end with an unspoken, common understanding that delivering some sort of manufactured persona is just boring. Authentic human experiences are cool enough in and of themselves. We just like doing cool sh*t, and we work day in and day out to make sure that this cool sh*t yields success to our holders and a cool story to share. We aren’t delivering a predefined experience, we aren’t delivering a rehearsed play, we are along for the ride, just like you, to deliver you the XPUNK experience.
