Further to when we reported the flooded Alphington subway last week, we have today been told by Devon Highways that the pump is back on site this morning so the subway is hopefully usable for people travelling between Alphington and St Thomas #Exeter#ActiveTravel

Apparently the pump isn't there today, maybe our misunderstanding but it seemed it was being arranged today. There is once again no safe pedestrian or cycling route between St Thomas and Alphington
Currently our local police service and county council are missing in action.
So myself and a few other Exonians are stepping in to stop dangerous and illegal drivers from driving down roads they are no longer allowed to use.

Powers to ban pavement parking should be extended across England to make streets safer, a new study says.
The Local Government Association (LGA) says councils do not have the powers they need to tackle the "scourge" of pavement parking.
