The fall 2020 issue of Explorations arrived just before Christmas. Some really excellent articles in it. I particularly enjoyed Elizabeth Honig’s piece. Have a look! brill.com/view/journals/erc/…
There are some great essays in this issue, particularly Miranda Wilson’s excellent piece on gifts of wristwatches and Cassandra Auble’s outstanding piece on Elizabeth’s exchange and pursuit of jewelry with Mary Queen of Scots.
Also delighted to say that the Albert W Fields Award, presented for the best essay in the 2018 volume of Explorations, went to @helkiahcrooke for her amazing essay on Dr Lambe, Dangerous Doctors in EM London brill.com/abstract/journals/…
