I was nervous about this but it definitely turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. The sheer learning that I got and how far ahead it pushed me in my career is unbelievable and to my surprise, I didn't feel the growth till I stepped out and looked around.
Career update🎉 Turned down a big offer from one of my favourite companies to join an early-stage startup just for that zero to one experience of building and scaling a product to millions of users. Don't know how this will turn out but I am super excited for this.

Too many @GoogleChrome tabs open? Try vertical tabs, rolling out now. Just right-click any Chrome window and select “Show Tabs Vertically” to move your tabs to the side of the browser window, making it easier to read page titles and manage tab groups.

I agree. But say whatever you want about chatGPT, the voice mode is such a well executed ux that no one comes close to it. From thinking out your ideas, acting as a tutor or an in depth banter on a complex topic, it shines in all of them.
i've been a claude user for a while now, and decided to give chatgpt a chance again 🙃 it is borderline unusable, and the way it tailors it's answers to what it thinks you want to hear is almost laughable i don't know if it is because those are the most positively-marked answers, or if it is being too cautious not to offend you you literally cannot trust it with a grocery list, fitness advice, or god forbid anything that includes numbers

Imagine how far ahead in life we would be if we didn't have to deal with unlearning the bad patterns we were taught growing up.

Recently a friend observed that I don’t make any notes on the books I read and asked me why. I couldn’t answer promptly but remembered this was hard wiring from school days. Resale value of textbooks would go down materially if you had made a mess of it. It’s fascinating how some of these values from past continue subconsciously for decades ahead.

Every fintech startup either dies a hero or lives long enough to become a money lender.

Central Bangalore infra is like that clean, well-thought codebase while rest of the city feels like it was vibecoded.

Me: I have a complex, urgent problem. Them: Here is a chatbot with 3 pre-programmed answers and a generic FAQ link. Good luck! It’s wild how "optimizing for cost" usually looks exactly like "optimizing for frustration."

Because most of what we called "reasoning" was advanced pattern matching all along...
BREAKING: Apple just proved AI "reasoning" models like Claude, DeepSeek-R1, and o3-mini don't actually reason at all. They just memorize patterns really well. Here's what Apple discovered: (hint: we're not as close to AGI as the hype suggests)

Grok ios app really has the best UX and not just hyped: - No content shift or scrollbar jump - No dialog that abruptly closes or terminates the query - Extremely simplified UX instead of bombarding the user with all the options My ranking: Grok > PPLX > ChatGPT
