With confirmation of the league for next season, it seems appropriate to now say that Exwick Villa are folding. Without a clubhouse and with rising costs everywhere, it simply became impractical to fund the club. Thank you to all players, staff & supporters, past and present #UTV
πThe updated @DFLeague2019 constitution, which was ratified at last nightβs annual meeting.
Congratulations to @Appledore_FC and D&C Autos, both promoted to replace @ExwickVilla and @PAFCCommunityTr respectively. The late withdrawal of @BrixhamAFC Reserves leaves S&W with 13.

Today we say farewell to the gaffer @Maysey07. Managing a club at grassroots level is so much more than just picking the side on a Saturday and Steve has put everything into the club. Thank you Maysey for your hard work over the years, there would be no Villa without you π€ #UTV

Beer 3 - 2 Villa: Congratulations to @albion_beer who advance to the final of the Devon Cup. We fell 3 behind in the first half and could never recover. Our goals came from @Nathanmay96 and an own goal #UTV

Villa 4 - 0 Budleigh: A really good performance from the lads in our last home match of the season. @_samjohnson_ opened the scoring in his first match since an injury in October. There were goals for both debutants @bennymams & James Ansell, and @Conorsaunders16 also bagged #UTV

Topsham 2 - 2 Villa: A big point for us today. We were short on players but not on heart and the lads put a great shift in. Two first half goals from @Nathanmay96 gave us the lead but Tops pegged us back and will feel they should have won. We stay in 2nd with two games to go #UTV

Budleigh 1 - 3 Villa: A really good win on the road and another 3 points on the board. We had to come from behind to beat a good Budleigh side with James Mudge grabbing a brace and the in-form @Ash__Hudd adding another #UTV

Villa 6 - 1 Park United: We are through to the semi finals of the Devon Premier Cup after a good win against Park yesterday. We had to be patient and trailed until the hour mark before the goals flowed. Both @Ash__Hudd and @Nathanmay96 grabbed a hattrick each #UTV

Newtown 3 - 4 Villa: A big win today. We raced into a 3 goal lead before Newtown pegged us back and took control in the second half. At 3-3 it took a great header from the returning @ashley_brittain to seal the 3 points. The other scorers were @Ash__Hudd (2) and @Nathanmay96 #UTV

Villa 3 - 2 Feniton: An entertaining match at the Hub this afternoon. We went into the half 2-0 up through James Mudge and @liamsaunders03 before Fenny pegged us back early in the second. Both sides had chance to win the game before @brc_17 grabbed the winner. A big 3 points #UTV
