This afternoon, the 2025 and 2026 Luce Indigenous Knowledge Fellows toured @FAMokMuseum and experienced the collective histories of 39 distinctive First American Nations in Oklahoma today.

We're back for day 2 of our Luce Indigenous Knowledge Fellowship convening at @FAMokMuseum in Oklahoma City! First Nations President & CEO Mike Roberts (Tlingit) and Vice President Catherine Bryan (Navajo) welcomed the fellows this morning and gave a brief history of the program.

Later in the morning, the @HLuceFdn fellows walked the @FAMokMuseum Mound, a tribute to the many tribes of Oklahoma who descend from Moundbuilder cultures or have earthen architecture as part of their lifeways.

Today, we honor the children who lost their innocence, identities, cultures, and lives at the hands of Indian Boarding Schools. We remember the children who were killed, we stand with the children who survived, and we work to heal these enduring wounds for our children today.

Starting Sept. 6, the uniform will continue to be featured in a digital exhibit through Native American Heritage Month in November.
