On Thursday, the Fox Chapel Area School District hosted nearly 2,000 young learners from across Western Pennsylvania for Tinkercast "Make It Wow" kid inventor competitions.

Thursday, January 29, and Friday, January 30, will be virtual instruction days for all students in the Fox Chapel Area School District due to road and bus stop conditions.
An email with additional information will be sent via the school district’s messaging system.
Tuesday, January 27, 2026, will be a virtual instruction day for students.
There will be synchronous and asynchronous learning.
Elementary students should log in to their Google Classrooms; secondary students should log in to Schoology and attend each class as scheduled.
Tomorrow, Monday, January 26, there will be no school for students in the Fox Chapel Area School District due to inclement weather. There will be no online learning from home. All of our school campuses will be closed on Monday.

The FCAHS choirs and orchestra will present a free major works concert, “The Light Within,” on October 26. The program will feature the concert choir and Orchestra performing Elaine Hagenberg’s “Illuminare.” The concert will be held at East Liberty Presbyterian Church at 3 p.m.
Today, Dorseyville Middle School received its Peace Pole from the Rotary Club of Fox Chapel Area. Each pole shares the message “May Peace Prevail on Earth” in multiple languages — a reminder of unity, kindness, and belonging for all. #FCProud 🦊@FCASD@MCReljac
