My wife’s a teacher, so I see this up close every day.
The early mornings. The late nights. The time, energy, and care that never really shuts off.
Spending their own money to make sure kids have what they need. Being asked to do more with less, and still finding a way to show up for every single student who walks through that door.
That’s not just a job. That’s commitment to our kids and to our future.
We say we value education, but too often we don’t treat our teachers like we do.
That’s got to change.
So this week, take a moment to thank a teacher. But let’s do more than that. Let’s fight for them the way they fight for our kids, and make sure every child has the education they deserve.
