Rochester weather is giving us the best it has to offer. Low temperatures, wind, and snow. We have to cancel tomorrow. We need to keep our volunteers safe. Sorry everyone... March 20 is our next attempt.

So this happened at the end of the day: My personal cell rings. Number from Florida I don’t know. I rarely answer these calls cuz it’s endless car warrant social security police scams. But I answer. And Jane says ‘hi skinner!’ So who’s Jane, you ask?

We have to postpone our operations today @RocPublicMarket due to extreme temps. Can’t wait for our new building to be complete and delivered! Lots of space to stay warm and keep physically distanced!
‘Decreased access to healthy foods means people in low income communities suffer more from diet related diseases than those in higher income neighborhoods with easy access to healthy food, particularly fresh fruits and veggies.’
Thanks to everyone who retweeted for Flower City Pickers! We are a small but might bunch of dedicated volunteers who desperately wants to keep good, viable produce out of landfills and into the mouths of people who may need it. Look us up! Volunteer. Help us get more donors.
It’s stupid cold here in Rochester. We should be at the Rochester Public Market this Saturday. Pray for a little sun, lots of volunteers, and lots of good produce to sort.
We will be at the Market this Saturday, January 23. Let’s all work to stay warm and safe!
