For ODAC we look for applicants who:
Have a personal or caregiving experience with cancer.
Understand the issues and concerns of their respective patient communities.
Are able to discuss needs and preferences of their communities in a public forum.
Have some knowledge of available treatments and therapies related to their type of cancer.
Understand basic scientific information.
Have some experience with complex decision-making.
Note: this is a paid position and candidates must complete conflict of interest screening in order to serve.
