The briefing will outline Organised Labour’s position on the growing tensions around migration and illegal immigration in South Africa. FEDUSA CALLS FOR LABOUR LAW COMPLIANCE FOLLOWING DEATH OF CARTRACK EMPLOYEE 10 June 2026 The Federation of Unions of South Africa (FEDUSA) has noted with shock and sadness reports surrounding the death of Cartrack employee, Gcina Dhladhla, who suffered a medical emergency while on duty at the company’s Rosebank offices on Saturday. The tragic incident has raised serious concerns regarding conditions of work, employee wellbeing, and compliance with labour legislation in South African workplaces.

The Federation of Unions of South Africa (FEDUSA) fully supports its affiliate, the National Tertiary Education Union (@jaxfnel), in formally lodging a criminal complaint against the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Fort Hare (UFH).
