It’d be transformational if just an extra 1% of the Oasis queue took an interest in live music in small venues.
I’ve seen figures that 20m tried for tickets today. If 1% off them went to 4 gigs a year at a small venue (300 cap), it would be sold out every night for 7.3 years.

I love how everyone is rallying behind the International Boxing Association - an organisation that has been banned from the Olympics since 2019 due to "concerns about its leadership, integrity and financial transparency." (that last bit is being financed by Russia, btw.)

I feel like this McDonalds thing is only coming as a surprise to them. Their stores are essentially staffed by teenagers. Very few people have the life experience to be in charge when they're 19. 1/2 @bbcnews

I worked for McD between the ages of 16-19 and one manager in particular really had it in for me. Shifts with him were miserable. He was constantly cruel. People commented on how awful he was to me, but no one did anything to stop it. It was passed off as "banter." @BBCNews 2/2
