This comes despite Brentford’s improved offer of around €50m (€45m fixed plus €5m add-ons), which 1. FC Köln were prepared to accept. #Effzeh

We were a laughing stock when Silva took over, I’ll always be grateful for that special 2021/22 season and the many great moments that followed in the next four years of stable mid-table football. I’d have snapped your hand off for that in May 2021…

Whilst I’m not buzzing with how he has left, he’ll remain one of my favourite Fulham managers of all time until we qualify for Europe or win something.
I’m excited for a fresh start, but we NEED to get this next appointment right in order to push on rather than regress

Benfica are now in advanced talks with Marco Silva to try and finalise a 2 1 contract, while Fulham still wait for formal clarification over his future.
Silva landed in Lisbon this evening for a speaking engagement, unrelated to any Benfica negotiations.
However, Jorge Mendes is in direct talks with Benfica.
Fulham's three-year contract offer has been on the table for months.🇵🇹
