Some initial tactical thoughts watching Arbeloa's Real Madrid with #FFC in mind 🤍🇪🇸 TL:DR - Plenty of on ball dynamics which would suit our squad. A few more Qs off the ball. But honestly it feels like a high ceiling, low floor punt in a very unforgiving, physical PL 🧵 1/14

We need an official statement from @ITV to explain why they feel we, as an audience, benefit from Lee Dixon as a commentator. It's inexplicable. No energy, no insight, no controversial takes. It's an important crucial role, @ITV. WTF?

𝑴𝑨𝑵𝑨𝑮𝑬𝑹𝑰𝑨𝑳 𝑼𝑷𝑫𝑨𝑻𝑬 | 𝑴𝒚𝒍𝒆𝒔, 𝑫𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒚, 𝑭𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒔 Following the acceptance of his resignation by the Board on Monday, Myles Maddix has stepped down from his role as First Team Manager. On the acceptance, Coaches Francis Edubatey and Danny Buttigieg have informed the board that they will also be moving on from the club. Everyone at Luton Town Ladies Football Club would like to place on record our heartfelt thanks to Myles, Francis and Danny for their hard work during their time with us. They have each played an important role in the continued growth and success of the club. We wish them nothing but success and happiness in the next chapter of their football journeys. As one chapter closes, another begins. The club is incredibly excited about the future and the plans that lie ahead. We can’t wait to share them with our supporters, volunteers, sponsors and the wider community as we continue building something special together. 🧡

Mexico City Stadium, the stadium to open the 2026 Men’s World Cup, but it was also the stadium that hosted the 1971 Women’s World Cup, a tournament that is STILL not recognised by FIFA 55 years later. They deserved and still do deserve better. #WorldCup #Copa71

𝑳𝑬𝒀𝑨𝑯 𝑴𝑨𝑫𝑫𝑰𝑿 | 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒀𝒐𝒖 Luton Town Ladies can today confirm the departure of long serving player and captain Leyah Maddix. Leyah joined the club at 13 years of age and progressed up into the first team squad at 17, while we were in Tier 2. In later years she was part of the double winning team that were promoted back to the FAWNL and in the past season served as club captain. Her dedication as a club ambassador this season saw her rightly recognised for her role within the community. Leyah moves on with the thanks of everyone involved at the club and will always be welcome. Thank you, Leyah. 🧡

Looking at womens ST across our new league.most last year were in the £50-£75 range working out between £5- £8 a game for adults. Portsmouth is £12 a match while Lewes was £15 Realistically i'm expecting ours to rise to £60/65 maybe £6-7 a match . still amazing value

Global 🌐 Women remain severely underrepresented in football coaching. Hannah Dingley and MPs highlight structural barriers, sexism and unequal pathways. FIFA's new rules are a start, but cultural change is essential to achieve lasting equality. buff.ly/nu2vn5V
