Last term, we asked ‘What is the solution to river pollution?’ - we petitioned in Hucknall and collected signatures, which we sent along with a letter to our MP, Mark Spencer.
Today, we received his response and the children extremely proud of their work.

Johnson class had a great time using the VR headsets. They have been up close and personal with lions, jaguars, rhinos and arctic foxes. After, they flew across deserts, tundras and forests.

In Autumn, Nursery made posters about our town as a result of their enquiry: Where do I belong? The council have made a banner of their artwork which is displayed in Sutton-in-Ashfield near Costa Coffee in the market place.

Cannot recommend these books enough! Author is #jeanniebaker and they are great to support teaching of primary geography 🌍 These wordless books provide a great stimulus for the changes in physical and human geography 🏙️🏞️
