This is exactly why the Lucy Letby case “erupted”. A failing maternity unit. A spike in deaths due to rise in acuity because babies were being diverted from N. Wales, capacity problems in Liverpool. Consultants panicking and making mistakes. A good nurse doing many extra shifts.

re the #LucyLetby Netflix doc and LL's 'no comments' in interviews In line with everything else regarding the Police and this case, I'd suspect that the 'no comments' were cherry picked to make her look bad She probably gave full answers, but got peed off with the questioning

so @lizhull is paid by Cheshire Police to help with their #LucyLetby narrative. Then she has the cheek to question Mark McDonald on his use of the media.

Dewi Evans: I read that the police were investigating baby deaths in Chester and thought, 'that sounds like my kind of case' I mean, there was no benefit to himself, to go to Chester and find only natural cause deaths. He was going there to find murders! #LucyLetby

DSupt in Cheshire Police video: "you dont often hear of multiple baby deaths. they are extremely rare" Prof Modi on ITV doc: "This was a unit that was being asked to care for babies that were too ill to be cared for there" Prof Modi explains the #LucyLetby case in 1 sentence

They could do with a serial killer narrative. #LucyLetby
🚨 BREAKING: 90 DEATHS AT BRIGHTON HOSPITAL UNDER MANSLAUGHTER INVESTIGATION - COVER-UP ALLEGATIONS EMERGE! The number of allegedly suspicious deaths at Royal Sussex County Hospital has more than doubled to 90, triggering a major police investigation into possible manslaughter and medical negligence. 🔴 Sussex Police’s Operation Bramber is now investigating deaths in general surgery and neurosurgery between 2015 and 2021. 🔴 Initial total was 40 deaths - but has now skyrocketed to 90 cases under review. 🔴 Allegations of negligence and a cover-up have led Sussex Police to request additional resources from the Home Office. 🔴 Families of the deceased are demanding answers and accountability from the hospital trust. 🔥 HOW WAS THIS ALLOWED TO HAPPEN? Patients trusted the NHS with their lives - were they failed on a massive scale? Who knew what, and when? The pressure for justice is growing!

thinking about how Cheshire Police really pushed the #LucyLetby serial killer narrative. The tents in the garden. The handcuffs bodycam arrest etc Then glorifying it all with the Op Hummingbird video. The once in a career opportunity to make their mark. It had to be true.

56 babies and 2 mothers die in 5 years at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Maybe they should bring in Cheshire Police and Dewi Evans to investigate. They would likely chalk it up as a #LucyLetby style serial killer. No real evidence needed. Just make it public early.

In most serial killer cases, the case is built around the crimes in order to catch the offender. The difference with the #LucyLetby case, is that, the 'offender' has been selected first and then the case built around her. The ultimate recipe for a miscarriage of justice.

sums up the #LucyLetby case. Innocent nurse serving a whole life sentence due to a growing giant snowball of stupidity. Probably didn't help her that she dared to challenge the stupidity that existed within her workplace.

Nothing makes sense. Is it remotely plausible that #LucyLetby—having got away with murder by being moved off the ward—fought her way back in a hunger to kill more? The only motive here is a motive for consultants to find a scapegoat for general failings.

It was 2018 when Cheshire Police conducted their over the top Fred West Serial Killer style search and dig of #LucyLetby s house and garden. Looking back, I think it was more of an exercise in setting the 'Serial Killer' narrative for the public. It fooled me at the time.

3 key points in the #LucyLetby case. Case conceived and built upon confirmation bias. You dont need a murderer to kill babies in a country that is riddled with neonatal scandals. Poor care will suffice. COC consultants revenge against LL after her grievance against them.

The confirmation bias flames being fanned by the press, and instances like the police making a meal of searching LLs house.... as if she was some sort of serial killer! Erecting tents, the lot. Setting the narrative. I bet they even tipped off the press.

#LucyLetby You can ignore miscarriages of justice. But really, they affect us all.

It will be a bigger injustice than the injustice itself, if #LucyLetby is let out of prison, aged 50 having missed out on her prime years. Makes me feel sick to think about it.

A lot of the #LucyLetby guilty brigade have gone very quiet on the subject, and even deleting old tweets! Have they now realised that there were no serial killers involved in the The Countess of Chester Neonatal Scandal. Washing their hands now it seems?
