During his visit to NDDB, Anand, Shri Naresh Pal Gangwar, Secretary, @Dept_of_AHD & President, INC IDF, chaired the meeting of the Indian National Committee of the International Dairy Federation (INC IDF). The meeting was attended by Dr. @ShahMeenesh , Chairman, NDDB, Ms. Varsha Joshi, Additional Secretary, DAHD, and Shri @Jayen_Mehta , MD, @Amul_Coop , while Dr. Dheer Singh, Director, @ICAR__NDRI , alongside representatives from @IndianStandards and @fssaiindia , joined virtually. Discussions focused on INC IDF activities and India's preparations for hosting the @FIL_IDF World Dairy Summit 2027.
Shri Gangwar reviewed the progress of the NPDD and RGM Schemes, alongside the BMF Project, in the presence of Chairman, NDDB, Additional Secretary (CDD), DAHD, and senior officials from NDDB and DAHD. He was also given a demonstration of Amul’s AI-powered assistant, Sarlaben, for farmer outreach and support services.
As part of the visit, Secretary, DAHD interacted with BMF beneficiaries at dairy farms in Anand and Gandhinagar. Discussions centered on brand development, sustainable dairy practices and the use of ET-IVF technologies for genetic improvement.
