In 2008, Fergie and his Foundation travelled to Field of Dreams Park in Dyersville, Iowa where Fergie Jenkins day was help. A Game was had, baseball clinic, autograph session and photos in front of the very high corn field. Great fun by all, Jay Johnstone came along!

Fergie Jenkins generally does not travel alone. He enjoys company , golf, hunting and fishing, jazz music and movies. The many bobbinheads often travel with him and golfs with his many friends who support his Foundation and family of charities.

Fergie Jenkins didn't always wear Number 31, in his early career before going to the pros. He played for the Miami Marlins played in Number 25. He also played for the Buffalo Bisons, Little Rock, Arkansas Travellers and Chattanooga Lookouts to name a few!

Fergie now Pitching for the Trotters. Fergie joined the Famous Harlem Globetrotters in the off season from baseball from 1967-69. He joined Meadowlark Lemon in the famous routine pitching and around the base run .
