Today marks 28 years since I should’ve been going on a school trip with all my mates to Disneyland, Paris.
But when it was announced eight months earlier, Championship Manager 97/98 was just coming out at the same time. My Mum said I couldn’t have both.
Never regretted it.

Picking a World Cup squad is more complex than just picking the best players. It is impossible to have a fully informed opinion, as we don't know the game plans, contingency plans, player willingness to take on a certain roles, work ethic, behaviour, personality types etc.
