This is a nice paper measuring HMD eye tracker latencies using EOG as a baseline. It roughly matches our numbers (~20ms for ET, and ~40-50ms display-round-trip). We've linked it in our article about latency:

The eyes can be a good proxy for understanding the brain, but why not track both simultaneously to aid your research? Our brain science partner, NeU, is selling a brain-activity-tracking version of the FOVE0 starting in June.
