FIRST LIGHT: Hurricane Debby makes a violent landfall along the Florida Gulf Coast. The pool deck at Island Place condos on First Street in Cedar Key is taking a brutal beating this morning as wind and storm surge crash ashore.

#HurricaneDebby is now Category 1. Cedar Key is in the eastern eyewall at the moment. Relentless wind and flooding conditions. Will stay so for awhile. We still have power. The video below shows the parking lot for Island Place condos, and First Street. #FOX35
