On 6/4/2026, Fairfield Police and the Fairfield Fire Department responded to a suspicious fire at a duplex residence on Castle Avenue. Mikaelle Rosw, 36, of Fairfield was arrested and charged with Arson in the 3rd Deg. She was held on a $500k bond and has court on 6/5/2026.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics CT will go through town on Fri 6/5. FPD's will be on Route 1 from Westport-Bridgeport from 12:30PM & 2PM. Expect brief traffic delays & come cheer runners as they carry the Flame of Hope in support of Special Olympics athletes.
