Welcome to my #WCFantasy Preview. A quick note before we get into it: one of the things I've enjoyed the most over the last few weeks is seeing how much #WCFantasy content is being created. Data-driven threads, player recommendations, chip discussions, fixture analysis, predicted lineups... all of it. To me, that's a fantastic sign for the game. In many ways, it reminds me of where #UCLFantasy could be in the near future. The game has enormous potential and an incredible amount of room to grow. Maybe it never reaches the scale of FPL, but that should absolutely be the horizon. So, thanks to all of the X users out there for the superb type of pieces you’ve put out lately. We had the usual UCL suspects like Bobby and Louis with some incredible graphs and covering every single friendly many FPL content creators writing some pieces about the WC Fantasy. With that said, what you're about to read won't be a heavily data-oriented preview. If you've followed my content throughout the 2025/26 UCL Fantasy season, you'll know the style by now. This is simply my view of the tournament, the teams, the players I rate, the risks I see, and the decisions I'm personally considering. The goal isn't to tell you what to do. The goal is to give you another perspective so you can make a more informed decision and build your own approach. In this thread, I’ll cover: - Some high-level lessons that apply to this game. - General thoughts on the tournament - Considered Assets Potential Differentials? - Chip Strategy - Scout Bonus. #UCLFantasy Final Wrapped Up 🏆 GW Points: 39 Total: 1347 | OR: 6073 First of all, apologies for not posting my final team before the deadline. The signal inside and around the Puskás Arena wasn't exactly reliable, and I was honestly lucky to get my transfers through in time to go fully Arsenal. Needless to say, I'm devastated by the result itself. But putting football aside for a moment, the entire experience was incredible from start to finish. From UEFA shipping the PS5 to my house, to arranging the flights, the airport pickup, the hotel, going to the stadium alongside the other winners from different UEFA games, and finally the transfer back to the airport to head home. Everything was top-notch. As for the fantasy side of things, this was my first season trying to create content regularly and help this community as much as I could. The support I received was honestly far beyond anything I expected. One of the most rewarding things throughout the season was reading messages from people who achieved their best-ever overall rank, won mini-leagues, or simply enjoyed the game more because of the discussions we had together. My title defense certainly didn't end with the rank I was hoping for. But if there's one thing I'll take away from this season, it's that helping others enjoy the game and improve at it ended up being even more satisfying than my own final position. Thank you to everyone who read a thread, replied to a post, joined a discussion, challenged an opinion, or simply followed along throughout the season. Congratulations to all the winners, and congratulations to everyone who made it to the finish line. See you next season. ❤️
