Just a quick re-introduction ahead of the World Cup 🌎
My name is Jeppe, and I'm from Denmark. I've worked as a physiotherapist in football for six years.
I specialize in injury analysis in the Premier League (mainly with an FPL focus), but I'll of course do my best to cover the World Cup as well.

Oyarzabal Injury Update 🇪🇸
Oyarzabal was substituted at half-time due to a knock, so I took a closer look, as he's an extremely popular Round 1 pick in World Cup Fantasy.
In the 28th minute, a Peruvian player stepped backwards and accidentally stood on Oyarzabal's left foot. He received treatment on the pitch and was able to continue playing until he was substituted at half-time.
A few positives:
- Spain also substituted three other players, so the change may have been pre-planned.
- Oyarzabal did not roll his ankle, suggesting it is only a knock rather than a more serious injury.
- Spain's first match is still six days away.
I believe Oyarzabal will be fine.
