Ian Leggat, NZ's oldest living test cricketer, is 96 today. Just the fourth @BLACKCAPS player to reach that milestone after Eric Tindill, Jack Kerr & Trevor McMahon. Leggat was a member of the 1953/54 NZ team in South Africa.

Ashburton/Mid-Canterbury sporting legend Brian Sampson died recently aged 80. Member of the Ashburton County rugby team which beat Australia 16-10 in 1964 and played two FC games for Canterbury Cricket in 1969/70.
This is the first time that @BLACKCAPS have been dismissed for 113 in a test and the first time any team In England has made that total. Of the previous nine instances, only England (1888 at Sydney) won the game. #ENGvNZ
